Vision 2011/12

Teen Challenge projects are aimed at adults (18 - 40) offering outreach and the residential rehabilitation program to clients with drug and alcohol addiction allowing them the opportunity to move away from a drug lifestyle enabling them to be integrated back into society once they have completed the program. Young people (14 - 25) with drug and alcohol misuse in Newport and the surrounding areas offering outreach through our mobile coffee bus.

Teen Challenge for many years were involved in schools work (prevention) sadly 3 years ago this opportunity stopped because schools were taking on education and prevention in house. Since March 2008 the Welsh Assembly decided that more must be done in the area of prevention Teen Challenge will be putting forward plans for prevention and education and we are hoping to be able to go back into the schools our age range will include (5-18) offering our mobile facility, and packages for children and young people to explore in a safe place the issues of drug misuse.
